Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is an ancient healing art used to help facilitate healing and balance within a person’s mind, body, and spirit.

I have completed all certification and state licensing requirements to practice massage therapy in NJ as a Licensed Massage Therapist. While all my clients enjoy a nice, relaxing massage, I am best known for Deep Tissue and Medical Massage work to help the body remember how to heal itself from disharmonies such as sciatica, whiplash injuries, back pain, sports injuries, fibromyalgia, and more. My work with a local chiropractor continues to teach me how to better my technique and support a client in their wellness goals.

In addition, as a Shaman, I am also taught by the Medicine Ones about facilitating and holding space to allow true, lasting healing and harmony to blossom and manifest on all levels.  This aspect of my work makes the massage session different from many other massages because I am intuitively connected to the specific areas of the body that hold disharmony, and focus on those areas to help your whole being remember how to innately heal itself inside and out.

Serenity Massage

This deeply nurturing and relaxing massage includes flowing and deeply relaxing techniques that will lull your being into sweet serenity while also relieving tension and stress, stiffness, aches and pains, lowering blood pressure, improve blood circulation, and a host of other beneficial effects.

Therapeutic Massage

Ideal for athletes, massage therapists, or people whose vocations are taxing to the body, this form of massage targets specific areas of soreness, pain, and tension.  Deep tissue and medical massage techniques help break up the pain cycle and adhesions, increase range of motion, and allow the muscles to return to their natural, resting state.

Swiftwind Therapy Massage

An intuitive massage where any massage technique that is needed will be used. Swedish, Deep tissue, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Reiki, and other massage techniques may be utilized as appropriate in direct correlation with your specific goals each session.

Mommy and Me Massage

A specific massage for those who are expecting, this pre-natal massage is both deeply relaxing and rejuvenating.  Specific areas of common physical discomfort are focused on while being ever-mindful of the optimal health of baby and mother.

Bamboo Massage

Utilizing various sizes of bamboo sticks, this massage is commonly preferred over hot stone massage.  It is deeply relaxing while also therapeutic for your body.

Aromatherapy Massage

Essential oils have been used for centuries to bring about harmony within the body, mind, and spirit.  Based on your specific needs and goals, various essential oils are used in the massage treatment to further aid your being to return to it’s natural state of balance.

Reiki Massage

For those who are not able to receive a massage due to illness, a Reiki Massage is perfectly equipped to help restore your body’s natural harmony without the use of actual massage techniques.  The practitioner opens herself to channel Universal Life Force energy to allow this Divine energy to do what a massage would normally do.
